[Stylist Elixir]

Education for fashion stylists who want to build careers that actually work.

Stylist Elixir was founded to address a gap in the industry: fashion styling is treated as a creative pursuit, not a business. Stylists are taught how to pull clothes and build moodboards, but not how to set rates, negotiate contracts, protect their income, or find clients. They figure it out alone, often learning the hard way.

We teach the business side. Pricing. Positioning. Systems. Boundaries. The things that turn freelance chaos into sustainable careers.

Since launching, Stylist Elixir has supported thousands of stylists across the world through free content, paid memberships, workshops, and intensive mentorship programs. Our community includes complete beginners and working stylists with 20+ years of experience. What they have in common: they want to do this properly.

We believe that when stylists know their worth, set boundaries, and treat their work as a legitimate profession, the whole industry gets better.

OUR FOUNDER

[Stylist Elixir was founded by Emily Tighe.]

Studied at Central Saint Martins. Worked at John Galliano. Worked at GQ. 15 years in the fashion industry across design, styling, and consulting.

Publications include GQ, Vogue, and L'Officiel. Clients include Robbie Williams, Lizzo, and Christine Quinn. Brands include Casamigos, plus commercial and emerging brands across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

Today, Emily works primarily as a consultant, mentoring creatives and brands through Stylist Elixir's programs. While the platform was built for fashion stylists, it has expanded to support hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers, and brands navigating the business side of the creative industry.

She built Stylist Elixir after realising that the hardest parts of her career had nothing to do with styling. It was everything else. Knowing what to charge. Finding clients. Setting boundaries. Protecting her income. None of it was taught.

Five years ago, she started helping other stylists informally. The advice became a method. The method became Stylist Elixir.

Along the way, she built an active community. Hundreds of creatives who have connected, made friends, and found support in an industry that can feel isolating. Stylist Elixir exists to make this career a little less lonely.

Emily is direct. She says what she means and teaches what actually works. She believes creatives deserve straight answers, not vague encouragement. If something isn't working, she'll tell you. If you're undercharging, she'll tell you that too.

Her mission: close the gap between creative talent and business knowledge. Too many creatives are brilliant at their craft but struggling to make a living. That's not a talent problem. It's an education problem.

Emily works with creatives at every level, from people who haven't started yet to established names restructuring their careers. She's based in the UK but her community is global, with the majority in the US.

She has dyslexia, which shapes how she teaches. Clear, practical, no unnecessary complexity. If something can be said simply, it should be.
