1. Overview
Stylist Elixir (hereafter "SE") is a professional platform offering industry insight, educatåion, and mentorship for fashion creatives. These Terms govern your use of all SE services. By purchasing, subscribing to, or accessing any SE offering, you agree to abide by these Terms in full.
These Terms apply to:
The 6-Week Fashion Mentorship Program
The One-Day Intensive Workshop
SE Sessions (one-off and subscription-based 1:1 mentoring calls)
The Studio of Stylist Elixir (SOSE)
Substack content and paid subscriptions
Instagram educational content
Any future SE offerings or programmes
All services are educational in nature, grounded in lived industry experience. SE is not a coaching platform, job placement agency, regulated training provider, or professional advisory service.

1.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase, subscribe to, or access any SE offering. By making a purchase or creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. SE does not knowingly provide services to anyone under 18.

2. Nature of Services & Disclaimer

2.1 Opinion Based on Personal Experience
All content, advice, guidance, frameworks, templates, and recommendations provided through SE represent the opinions and perspectives of Emily Sherwin-Sherston based solely on her personal professional experience gained over 15 years working in the fashion industry.
SE content is opinion, not fact. What has worked for Emily and her clients may not work for you. The fashion industry varies significantly by location, sector, market conditions, timing, and individual circumstances. There is no single "right" way to build a styling career.
Emily's experience includes work with publications such as GQ, Vogue, ELLE, Grazia, and L'Officiel, as well as celebrity and commercial styling. However, past experience does not guarantee future results for you or anyone else.

2.2 Not Professional Advice
SE does not provide and is not a substitute for:
Legal advice (consult a qualified solicitor)
Financial or tax advice (consult a qualified accountant)
Business advice (consult a qualified business adviser)
Mental health support or therapy (consult a qualified professional)
Medical advice (consult a qualified healthcare provider)
Career counselling or job placement services
Any templates, contracts, rate guides, or business documents provided through SE are starting points and examples only. They are not legal documents and have not been reviewed by a solicitor. You are solely responsible for seeking independent professional advice before using them in your business. SE accepts no liability whatsoever for how you choose to use or adapt these materials.
2.3 Not Mental Health Support
SE is an educational platform, not a mental health service. While SE aims to be supportive and understanding, SE is not therapy, counselling, or a substitute for professional mental health support.
If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please seek support from a qualified mental health professional. SE is not equipped to provide crisis support or mental health intervention.

2.4 No Guarantees
SE makes absolutely no guarantees whatsoever regarding:
Paid work, jobs, or client bookings
Income levels or financial outcomes
Career progression or industry access
Portfolio quality or client response
Rates you will be able to command
Networking results or industry relationships
The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any advice for your specific situation
Any specific outcome from applying SE teachings
Results depend entirely on your individual effort, circumstances, market conditions, location, experience, skills, timing, and countless factors outside SE's control. Two participants following identical guidance may achieve completely different outcomes. This is the nature of creative careers and self-employment.

2.5 Your Responsibility to Evaluate
You are solely responsible for evaluating whether SE advice is appropriate for your specific situation. SE provides general guidance based on industry experience. You must use your own judgement to determine what applies to you.
If SE advice does not work for your specific situation, or produces different results than you expected, or conflicts with advice you receive elsewhere, this is not grounds for a refund. You acknowledged this risk when you enrolled.

3. Participant Responsibility

3.1 Active Participation Required
All SE programmes require active participation to be effective. By enrolling in any SE offering, you acknowledge and agree that:
SE provides frameworks, guidance, tools, and support
You are responsible for doing the work
Transformation requires your effort, not just consumption of content
Watching sessions without completing exercises will not produce results
SE cannot do the work for you
Your results are your responsibility, not SE's

3.2 Your Obligations
As a participant, you agree to:
Complete pre-work, coursework, and assignments as required
Attend live sessions or watch recordings promptly
Come to 1:1 calls prepared with questions and completed work
Engage honestly with the materials
Ask for help when needed
Respect deadlines and programme schedules
Make time in your schedule for the programme

3.3 Consequences of Non-Participation
SE is not responsible for your outcomes if you do not fully engage with programme materials. Specifically:
Not completing coursework does not entitle you to a refund
Not attending live sessions does not entitle you to a refund
Not watching recordings does not entitle you to a refund
Not booking or attending 1:1 calls does not entitle you to a refund
Arriving to 1:1 calls unprepared may result in the call being ended early or rescheduled at SE's discretion
Lack of results due to non-participation is not grounds for refund
Claiming you did not get the "full experience" because you missed sessions is not grounds for refund
SE reserves the right to end 1:1 calls early if you have not completed required preparation
If you miss sessions, fail to complete coursework, or do not engage with the programme, that is your choice and your responsibility. You do not get a refund because you chose not to participate.
By enrolling, you acknowledge that the value of SE programmes is directly proportional to the effort you invest. SE has delivered the programme; whether you engage with it is entirely up to you.

6. SE Sessions (1:1 Calls)

6.1 Session Types
SE offers 1:1 mentoring sessions in the following formats:

6.2 Booking & Payment

Completing any required pre-work or questionnaires

Reviewing relevant programme materials beforehand
Completing assigned coursework before the call
SE reserves the right to end calls early or reschedule if you arrive unprepared. This is to protect both your time and SE's.
